And VERY special thanks to our team of volunteers who helped us every step of the way:

We launched our Flying Fox racing team in 2007, after drinking too much beer and watching Antony Hopkins ride down the salt. We though what the heck, let's see what an old beemer can do. So Kevin built one up, and we decided to get our feet wet at El Mirage, a dry lake bed that is a smaller, homier venue than the Bonneville Salt Flats. We got hooked on the excitement of researching, fabricating, testing and hanging out with all our friends- who all participate in different ways to help in the racing.

After getting our rookie rides under our belts, we went off to try the salt. We ended up liking the racing scene at Bonneville very much, and keep going back to see if it is as fun as we remember.

We wrote about our adventures- you can read about them by selecting from the navigation menu. Don't forget to plan your vacation around meeting us down there, and come by to say hello or participate!
