Can 250 BMWs really fly? Dean Paulus seems to think so, and immersed himself in the fabrication of a trellis/box section segment of an airplane wing of his own design and fabrication to tack onto the side of the Freedle Flyer in pursuit of the vintage 250cc sidecar record at Bonneville in 2012. Lessons learned in the development and racing of our 500cc sidecar were quite enlightening, and some of those modifications are being scaled over to the 250 for our record attempt.
